"B" is for Bathroom

Here is the original bathroom...

There was an awkward "hallway" here. The photo looks towards the bathroom straight ahead. The structure on the left side of the photo was another awkward storage space. The door frame on the right side went out towards the kitchen and then where I am standing to take the picture is the door to the bedroom behind me. The room was very small (10 x 10). They had to have this area be a hallway between the bath and bed room since it was the only bathroom for the house.

Here are a couple videos the I shot during the process. PLEASE ignore my cheesy commentary. I was never planning to go into reporting. The first gives you an idea of the framing and room and second video was building the drain which was a pain in the ass. Had to seal it perfectly and make sure the drain gradient was equally sloped at every angle.

Tiling begins after much decision making. Went with white tile and Danny designed an artistic "swirl" design with blue, yellow and green tile.

Time to clean up! And there is a lot of that going on.

Here is the bathroom with slate floors, new toilet, and sink! It is is beautiful :)
